Verafin Integration

Last updated: June 25, 2026

Overview

Glide supports seamless integration with Verafin, automatically exporting CDD (Customer Due Diligence) questionnaire data collected through the Glide member flow and dashboard into Verafin for fraud monitoring and BSA/AML compliance. Once configured, Glide generates two CSV files and sends them to a dedicated SFTP server where Verafin retrieves them automatically — no manual file transfer is required.

CSV files can be generated multiple times per day, and the FI can specify their preferred frequency. Once daily is recommended to align with Verafin's standard batch import schedule.

How It Works

To enable the integration, follow these steps:

1. Contact your Verafin CSM to start a project

  • Reach out to your Verafin Customer Success Manager to let them know you want to start a Glide integration.

  • Verafin will assign a Project Manager to your implementation.

  • Note that Verafin's timeline for completing the integration is 6-8 weeks from project start.

2. Configure Verafin CDD Questions in Glide

  • Work with your Glide DPM to configure the Verafin CDD questions in your Glide member flow and/or dashboard.

  • These questions capture the data that will be included in the daily export files.

3. SFTP and SSH Key Setup

  • Glide will provision a dedicated SFTP directory for Verafin and provide an SSH key.

  • Share the SSH key with Verafin — they will use it to authenticate and pull files from Glide's SFTP server.

  • Verafin does not have access to your full SFTP directory, only to the files scoped to their integration.

4. Validate with Test Data

  • By Week 4 of the Verafin onboarding timeline, Glide must provide production-quality test data for Verafin to validate against the AOQ Data Specification (v4.4).

  • Your Glide DPM will coordinate this with you. You can use FileZilla (with VPN connected) to verify files are landing correctly in the SFTP directory during testing.

  • Confirm that both files are generated each day — Verafin requires both to be present:

File

Naming Convention

AOQ (Account Opening Questionnaire)

veraaoq_yyyyMMddHHmm.csv

Beneficial Owner

veraaoqbo_yyyyMMddHHmm.csv

5. Go Live

  • Once Verafin completes validation, production data must be available within 5 business days — your Glide DPM will assist with this step.

  • After go live, Verafin will pull files from the SFTP server automatically each day at 02:00 EST. No action is required from the FI on an ongoing basis.

  • Results are viewable by logging directly into the Verafin platform.

Additional Notes

  • If a file is missing or appears malformed during testing, notify your Glide DPM with the date and any error details from FileZilla.

  • For questions on the CDD question configuration, refer to your DPM or the Business Questions Page help guide.

  • For SFTP access or SSH key setup, your DPM will coordinate with Glide Engineering.
