The Glide account opening product allows different options for sending roles to the core. Glide defines roles as non-primary individual on a membership, such as joint owners, beneficiaries, power of attorneys, guarantors, and representative payee.

Joint Owner and Beneficiary Options

Configuration Option #1: Membership Level Roles

Joints and beneficiaries will be added to the core at the membership level.

Configuration Option #2: Share Level Roles

Joints and beneficiaries are sent at the share level. If an additional share is added to the membership via Glide, Glide will automatically add all joints and beneficiaries to the new shares. If shares are added outside of Glide (such as directly through the core), Glide will not automatically add the roles to those shares.

Configuration Option #3: Share Level Roles with Selection

Similar to Configuration #2: Share Level Roles, however, members and staff have the ability to select which shares the joint owners or beneficiaries should be added to. Glide does not automatically add joints and beneficiaries to new shares opened via Glide unless the member or staff selects to do so.

Configuration Option #4: Combination

Glide is able to accommodate a combination membership level and share level roles. For example, membership level joint owners, but share level beneficiaries with selection. Please review with your implementation manager if you would like to pursue a combination of membership and share level roles.

Options for Other Roles

Options for trustees, authorized signers, power of attorneys, guarantors, and representative payee. Note that authorized signers, power of attorneys, guarantors, and representative payee can only be added through the staff dashboard.

Configuration Option #1: Membership Level Roles

Roles will be added to the core at the membership level.

Configuration Option #2: Share Level Roles

Roles are sent at the share level. If an additional share is added to the membership via Glide, Glide will automatically add all roles to the new shares. If shares are added outside of Glide (such as directly through the core), Glide will not automatically add the roles to those shares.

Glide does not support the following for "other roles" (trustees, authorized signers, power of attorneys, guarantors, and representative payees): A combination of membership and share level roles or share level roles with selection.
