Backup Withholding Options

Overview

Glide collects a backup withholding acknowledgment for all membership types within both the dashboard and the member flow.

Default Text

The default backup withholding question presented to members is:

I am subject to backup withholding

You may be subject to backup withholding if you have been notified by the IRS as a result of a failure to report all interest or dividends.

Customization

The text of the backup withholding question can be adjusted for the member flow and dashboard independently. To request changes to the text, contact your Digital Program Manager.
