Minor Account Redirection Configuration

Overview

Glide can direct applicants to the appropriate personal, teen, or minor account flow based on date of birth and your institution’s configuration.

How redirection works

When teen accounts are enabled, applicants below the configured teen minimum age are directed to the minor account flow. Applicants who meet that minimum but are under 18 are directed to the teen account flow.

A separate minor-redirection setting can direct applicants below its configured age threshold to the minor account flow. If no threshold is specified, this setting uses 18. When redirection is required, the applicant sees a prompt to use the appropriate account flow.

Configuration

Review enabled account types, age thresholds, and the identity-verification setup with your Glide implementation team. Do not assume the personal account flow is suitable for minors simply because a date of birth can be entered.
