Overview

In order to process ACH transactions for member deposits, Glide generates NACHA files for transactions submitted via Glide.

To learn more about ACH origination and the flow of funds, see our ACH Origination Overview guide.

Integration

In order to get started with integration for ACH origination, please send the answers to the following questions to your integration team at Glide

  1. Please provide the name and RTN of your credit union’s bank. ex. "FRB SAN FRANCISCO"

  2. Please provide the name your CU uses on NACHA files (max length 24). ex. "GLIDE CREDIT UNION"

  3. Please provide the RTN of the GL your credit union uses.

  4. Please provide the number of NACHA files being generated daily (include any that are being generated for digital banking).

  5. Please provide the customer statement name (max length 16) ex. "GLIDE CU"

  6. Please provide your daily cutoff time for ACH payments. The default is 4pm ET.

  7. Please provide a recent NACHA file that you have used and have uploaded to the Fed.

  8. Does your credit union warehouse ACH credits? Some credit unions do not warehouse ACH credits (instantly post credits to accounts instead of observing settlement date).

  9. Please specify the Credit Offset in days for the credit to post to the members share after the debit lands into the GL?

    1. Credit Offset Days: As part of the ACH Origination process, we can offer the ability to configure credit offset days. By configuring this value, this results in the associated credit having a delayed effective credit date and allows time for the financial institutions involved in the transaction to reduce risk. Please specify the number of credit offset days for ACH credit transfers
