  • Timezone. Everything is UTC. Late-evening local records can land on the next
calendar day vs. your core reports.

  • Anchor dates. Each chart counts records by a specific event date (noted per chart).
Two charts can disagree when they anchor to different events.

  • Filters. Membership-type and channel filters scope every chart. Unfiltered, KPI
tiles count all types; the funnel and Conversion Rate Trend show Personal.

  • Events vs. members. Some charts count events (one member can appear more than
once), others count each member or application exactly once. Each entry says which.

Terms used below

  • Started / account selection — the applicant reached the choose-your-accounts step;
our "a real person started an application" signal. Restarts count once, in the period
    of the first start.

  • Submitted — the application-submitted event.

  • Decision — an approval, denial, pending, or closure event. Auto = no staff
member on the event (Glide decided alone); manual = a staff member decided. A staff
"Confirm" of an auto-approval doesn't make it manual.

  • Opened — the approval event.

  • Funded — a funding started in the period that completed.

  • Staff-entered — members created by staff in the dashboard. They have no application
record, so no membership type — any membership-type filter removes them.

  • Core-imported — members synced in from your core. Their application and approval
happened outside Glide, so they're excluded from application and decision charts.

Overview tab

Applications (KPI)

Unique applications started in the period, plus staff-entered memberships.

Anchor: first account-selection event.

Funding Volume (KPI)

Total dollars funded in the period.

Anchor: funding start date.

Completion Rate (KPI)

Numerator: applications submitted in the period.
Denominator: applications started in the period.

Anchors: submit and start events.

  • Period-flow, not cohort: the submits aren't necessarily from this period's starts. The
Conversion Rate Trend is the cohort version — the two will differ.

Auto Approval (KPI)

Numerator: auto-approvals.
Denominator: all decision events for this period's applicants — approvals, denials,
pendings, closures.

Anchor: decision date.

  • Mirrors the Decisioning tab's Auto-Approved segment.

Membership Funnel

How many of the period's applications reached each step, and where they drop off.
Distinct applications per step.

Anchor: each step's event date; population = the Applications cohort.

  • One membership type at a time — Personal unless filtered (with multiple types selected
it follows the first). Its first bar is smaller than the Applications tile, which
counts all types. Steps differ per membership type.

Application Status donut

Final state: each of the period's applications appears exactly once — In Progress,
Submitted, Approved, Auto-Approved, Denied, or Pending. Latest decision wins
(pending → approved shows as Approved).

Anchor: same cohort as the Applications tile; totals reconcile.

  • Closures aren't a state here — approved-then-closed shows as Approved. See
    Decisioning's Closed segment.

Membership Mix

The period's applications by membership type, largest first.

Anchor: same cohort as the Applications tile.

  • Total = Applications tile minus staff-entered memberships.

Application Volume

Three lines — started, submitted, approved — across 8 equal time buckets. Includes
staff-entered members.

Anchor: each event's date.

  • Raw event counts, so totals can run slightly above the tile. The approved line covers
    this period's applicants only.

Conversion Rate Trend

Of applications first started in each bucket, the % that submitted within 14 days. The
cohort answer to "do people who start actually finish?"

Anchor: first-ever start date; pre-period starters are excluded.

  • Recent buckets show faded until their 14 days elapse — expect those rates to rise.

Funding tab

Total Funded + Funding Volume Over Time

All dollars funded in the period, across every member — new applicants and
long-standing members alike.

Anchor: funding start date.

  • The widest funding number on the dashboard. Activation's "Funded" (opened and funded
this period) and Products' funded members (new account funded this period) are narrower
populations — different questions, all correct.

Activation tab

Activation tiles + funnel

Of members opened in the period: how many funded, enrolled in online banking, switched
direct deposit, added a beneficiary, added a joint owner.

Numerators: members from the base who did each behavior in the period.
Denominator: all members opened in the period — member-flow and staff openings;
core-imported excluded.

Anchor: approval event; behaviors counted in-period.

  • Currently the behavior counts only look among funded members (product decision
pending on dropping that gate), while percentages divide by all opened.

Decisioning tab

Auto-Decision Rate bar

Every decision event in the period for the period's applicants and staff-entered members,
six ways: Auto-Approved, Manual Approved, Auto-Denied, Manually Denied, Pending, Closed.

Anchor: decision date.

  • Counts events, not members — one application can appear in several segments.

  • Members who applied before the period but were decided during it aren't included on
    this tab.

Approval Rate Trend

Auto vs. manual approvals over 8 buckets.

Anchor: approval date.

Pending Reasons

Why applications went pending, and the share of those members later approved. Each member
counts once per reason; internal system markers are excluded.

Anchor: pending event date.

  • Approved % only counts approvals inside the window — short or recent windows read low.
Widen the range for a settled number.

Pending → Approved card

Members who went pending in the period and were approved in the period.

Anchor: both events in-period.

  • The headline is member-level. The "of N pending" figure counts pending events, which
    can exceed unique members.

Products tab

Funded Share Products

Distinct members per product, for accounts opened through Glide and funded, both
in-period.

Anchor: account created date + funding start date.

Products Opened

Distinct members per product for accounts opened through Glide in the period, funded or
not. Includes the membership share every member gets — that's the tallest bar.

Anchor: account created date (the member's application must also be from this period).

Both charts exclude accounts opened at a branch or directly in your core, and
staff-opened accounts (no Glide application).
